Finished 2nd season of Shouwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjuu. Was definitely worth it. Such a cleansing feeling. Early eps of 2nd season were not in the same league as 1st season imo, but later after Matsuda revealed what really happened in that hotel it was only getting better and better. The afterlife episode made me feel both sad and happy, hard to describe with words. Really glad I have watched it and didn't dismiss it with "lol anime about rakugo".
btw If I understood correctly then old man Yakumo was Shinnosuke's real father and not Yakuza boss? That was a bit disturbing, thinking about how Konatsu made love with an elderly man that raised her...
