What Im super curious of is how much input, say, a publisher had in the way of influence on the creation or commission of Dagon
for example Pickmans Model and Herbert West had a lot of outside influence (pun not intended) from Lovecrafts publisher at the time, with certain concepts or implementations Lovecraft had to make at their behest
