I have a related story.
I loved GTA chinatown wars a lot. But one day, when I turned off my DS, GTA started autosaving JUST then. and the file was corrupted and unusable when I turned it on again.
The developers were so stupid that they didn't even store a backup save, and my whole file was wiped, all because auto-save triggered at the worst moment. and I never wanted to play the game again.
I just want to take this moment to say fuck you Rockstar for ruining such a good game by failing to make plans for contingencies regarding autosave. even somebody who doesn't develop games could have told you that you always keep a backup save file in case the main one gets corrupted.
