This is a Western-based site so go off their localized ages.Sorry but it doesn't make sense to believe first or second year high school students like Rin or Sakura to be 18,even if the western localization may say so. And this is valid for many other cases where translators can't even trouble themselves about making events that occurred x years in the past be consistent with the ages they say the characters have in the present.
