Completely agree. NierMAN is one of my favorite protagonists. I also find his story a lot more compelling, only the
timeskip makes a little less sense for nierman. VA was extremely memorable and so was the character, and it made a lot more sense in the context of the story with him helping out the town, IMO.
I was already turned off Automata by having a girl with floaty weeaboo swords as the protagonist. I will probably not play Nier remake because I don't want to play as Nierboy.
