I'm very careful on my carbs and tell those around me to be, but for fitness. Not for your tinfoil reasons.
Monsanto is evil and a morally awful company, but not because they inject their scary corn with
chemicals. Yes they have specifically bred GMO's, but so did the Mayans and Egyptians. The plants themselves are alright and carbs aren't bad unless, people eat them in huge quantities like you mentioned.
