PK_Spam posted... I remember this guy and I always trading glances at each other from across the room in our classes together. I was smitten, but 17 year old me was 10 feet in the closet, and I guess he was too, so we never got past sneaking quick peeks at each other in English, and Gym, and Math, and lunch, and sitting next to each other on the late bus home (we lived in the same neighborhood) but hardly talking.
Hes getting married to some chick later this year. No harm there, I have NO idea why I even had a crush on that guy. Though he /did/ give me a free cup of pretzel bites at the pretzel store once.
I feel ya. I had a crush on this guy in middle school-high school but never made a move because I hadnt come out yet. He was also 100% straight so probably wouldnt have gone far even if I was bold enough to try.
We were friends up until junior/senior year when we started to drift apart. He became more of a bro which wasnt really my scene, and from what I saw via social media he doubled down on that in college.
We both moved to NYC after college and I serendipitously ran into him on the subway platform once. Made small talk for a few minutes, he was working in finance consulting or something, but it had been so many years that there wasnt any real connection anymore platonic or otherwise.
