he kills the predator with its own flying-razor-disc thing, which might be what you're thinking of. not sure if he gets to keep it or not though.
He drops the disc when the others appear, then says "Who's next?".As for the gun he's given, it has a date stamped on the side that I think says 1859. I know it's 1800's, just not exactly sure which year.
