Yeah. Epic made a great trilogy. Likable characters and the gameplay is good. People might debate that but whatever. The story was the main selling point for me. The inclusion of horde was a great addition. How at the later waves on insane, the Locust became such dangerous enemies. Where a single mistake is death.
The only thing that doesn't make sense to me is how so many Locust came to be in a period of like 40 years(?) in game, if I'm not mistaken. The game's tone makes it seem like there's millions of Locust. I guess some details are intentionally omitted.
As for Judgment. I never played it. I did watch the story. Which was good. Loomis is hilarious to me. His no nonsense approach to adhering to military protocol and one-liners. "Pretend War? No."
