Is California worth visiting these days?

An acquaintance/girl i met twice messaged me yesterday after a long time and we kinda talked for a bit.

I asked her "Been a long time, what have you been up to" and she said "Well nothing much, got a boyfriend for quite some time, we then broke off and thats it xD" then i said "Oh thats sucks, guess your Valentine's was kinda lonely then? to which she said "Yeah it was rather lonely indeed"

I told her we should meet since its been quite some time since the last time we saw each other (Last year, April i believe) to which she agreed. I even said "How about you come to my place tomorrorow? we could cook something and watch a movie" to which she agreed as well, quite surprisingly.

As i said note, i only saw her twice before, and while the dates were ok, we didnt really see each other to try something, we just hanged out back then. Considering we didnt talk for months at all and she suddenly messaged me?

I have been single for 1 month, came off from a 1 year relationship so i dont really mind trying my luck with this girl, i have already moved on in case you are wondering, but i feel like trying my luck since i have nothing to lose. How should i proceed tho? While im ok with sex and stuff, most of my experience comes from the girls i dated, i honestly never got to have casual sex or sex with a girl out of a relationship, so i would be inexperienced on that field.

Do i tell her something like "Wanna fill that lonely gap Valentine's left on you during that day?" or how would you proceed for that?
