I know someone that has known several people that have that have won big lotteries. (Enough that should never have to work again.) He said every one of them ended up wasting it all.
I recently read about one of the people that won a billion dollar jackpot. From the sounds of it, they will be broke in a few years. They took home like 500 million but have already blown through like 200 million because they think they can live like Jeff Bezos now.
Personally, while it wouldnt make me truly happy, it would make my life (and tons of others) better to win the lotto. I am definitely the person you want to win if you dont win yourself.
