In my first apartment, there was a tiny door halfway up the wall that led to a storage space that was just barely big enough for a twin size mattress, so I made that my bedroom.
I'd have to jump up and climb into the hole in the wall to go to sleep.

My roommate and I also had the brilliant idea of hooking the TV and surround system up to The Clapper... The first time we watched a movie it got to a loud part and turned itself off.
