The original draw of the show to me was the question it posed of "what really makes one human?" and where artificial intelligence fits among us. It really made you question what the real differences between humans and hosts are besides our hardware and nature of birth. I feel like they played out that narrative (no pun intended) with the first season, and this season, while exploring other interesting topics such as free will towards the end, was more of an adventure and a bit less philosophical. I'm curious to see where they will go with the show from here. I hope it doesn't evolve into a generic humans vs. AI/Robots type deal.

But man, Season 2 was just, what the fuck? We get it, you're emotional, upset, whatever, that everyone called the plot twists of Season 1 beforehand, but this season. It felt like they focused too much on, "aha, gotcha bitch" moments rather than telling a cohesive story.
Season 2...wtf? Dolores is unbearable (her "mission" is repetitive and stale as fuck). Maeve's journey (while I like her, is boring as hell) and the story is just...wtf?!

And good god, Reddit, I tried going on there to see if anyone had the same criticism. Nah, just a circlejerk of people who think they're intellectuals because they figured out some plot twists to a tv show.
