Well I'm not a lawmaker, just some dude on the internet. I would naturally want any policy to be thought out thoroughly by people more intelligent than myself. You didn't think I believed to have everything figured out, did you?

Well, if you think that "knowing something about the effects of gun control" is "everything figured out", I'm pretty sure you believing yourself to have anything figured out is a big ass stretch goal.
