Wetterdew posted... it adds some fun drama to watch, but it's also the reason why so many companies refuse to put gay characters in anything mainstream. I'm tired of gay characters just being delegated to "Mature" or fringe titles
this is a very valid and fair point that i hadn't considered. for the record, i do absolutely think lgbtq+ characters should just be common place and it is frustrating to watch them be first delegated to "mature" titles before being common place.
