I found the game hit a real uncanny valley of hardcore/party. I played with nongamer friends while drunk and they basically refused to ever change station, and we failed over and over. I played with my brother who games hard and we found the game repetitive, constantly facing the same or similar levels over and over, with the only novelty being for 10 minutes after reaching a new world.

It seems like it was made very specifically for someone who has never played a video game, but very quickly learns how to coordinate the actions of several people according to video game norms.

5/10 mediocre with a cute motif that appeals to people who will inevitably become frustrating dead weight
