My children are banned from Tiktok. To be honest, until at the very least 16. Too much unsavory things on there.
Their Laptops both only have Linux on it - which they can use to access, or install anything on.
Their phones are locked down, Hard. Only I have access to installing things on them. Also, no phones after 8:00pm.
Guess what both of them don't suffer form, at all? Cyberbullying.
It's ironic, because when I was a kid - it always annoyed me that my parents wouldn't let me watch higher age-rated movies, etc... But I'm repeating the same with my kids, since it's a good idea.
Some of my relative's kids are cyber-bullied all the time, I suggest maybe locking their kids stuff down - but I got shot down that, that would mean they wouldn't be able to keep in-touch with their peer group, etc... Absolute nonsense, my children have a good set of friends.
