Lightning Bolt posted...A lot of those would be voluntary though, no? People who are currently forced to have healthcare and are stupid enough to not want it?
I don't see how I'm stupid for not wanting to pay $250 a month for a plan that covers literally nothing unless I hit $6500 in medical expenses in less than a year. Short of a major accident, which is extremely unlikely, there's no way my medical expenses will be that high any time remotely soon so I'm basically throwing away $250 every month right now.
