That said, of the half dozen years I spent in retail and of all the dozens of times a customer claimed something rang up the wrong price, it was always because they were just too dumb to read the signs properly and the computer was correct.
I was certain and earlier I gave the answer to why they rung up wrong price.
IslamMD posted...I just realized why the items rung up different prices. They are rare flavors of the items. The store usually stocks one or two flavors and I picked up the rare flavors so they didn't update the system to have that flavor under the sale.
For example the ice cream I bought was blueberry crumble. That is really rare for the store to have it in stock. They usually only have vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, and butter pecan. So their system probably doesn't have blueberry crumble attached when the ice cream goes on sale.
