I finally invested in a pair of noise-cancelling headphones. Got a Bose pair for 250. These things are a game changer.
I hate noise in general, and these things muffle it out so good, even if you're not listening to music or anything through them.
There were people here putting a new floor in the living room the other day, and I barely heard anything.
