You couldn't design a better human swimmer in a lab - he was born with hyperflexible ankles that he uses like flippers, he has an insane arm span ratio and when they tested his lungs he seems to have been born with superhuman lung capacity as well.
It's unlikely someone will come along that's a better swimmer in our lifetimes.
Seems kind of bullshit that he's allowed to compete with others without that advantage then.
