I have a few friends from Latin American countries or have parents from Latin American countries that absolutely hate being called white despite looking white.
I doubt they're white supremacists.
Where are they from? I've a few Mexican friends like that, including one that looks very white. In Central America we have a mestizo national identity so most Central Americans tend to identify as mestizos regardless of appearances.
