k i see. proper shoes just arent the only way to allieviate shin splints.

try to change the foot soles. get athletic ones that are padded on the heel.

1. remove old foot sole
(notice how worn out it is)

2. be sure the new sole is fitted to you by cutting the proper size of your fit. the cuts are made around the toes. if youre a size 10 mens, cut the size 10 line off the sole.

3. insert new athletic foot soles

make sure the new inserts are flat on the shoe. itll take a few jogs to get used to the new soles but your feet should be more comfortable jogging or walking. also the sole will eventually conform to your feet.
