Probably the constant racial slurs the pair kept throwing my way and what else would it have been over? I was literally just sitting there listening to music minding my own business and they approached me and said "SUP, WHITE BOY!?" And kept hassling me. Tried to get me to walk off the subway presumably so they kill/assault me too

They probably just wanted to rob you and it probably wasn't because you're white. Still makes them thugs, but not necessarily racists. If "white boy" rustles your jimmies that much, it's probably the result of your own insecurity.
