Some people simply like her music. Others like that she's overweight, because they feel it gives them a green light to be overweight too. They feel that if someone who's so successful and famous is overweight, then that somehow makes it okay and they don't have to worry about getting into shape. It's the same reason why so many fat people got angry and claimed they were betrayed when Adele lost weight.
