I noticed this about movies. They have action scenes that are too fast to keep up with, with quick cuts every second, and shaky can scenes.

I don't understand this trend. It makes movies look terrible and I don't know about you but I have a hard time seeing what's happening on the screen because of it. Unfortunately I don't have any examples right now but I'm sure most people know what I'm talking about.

As the topic title reads, can anyone recommend movies with very well directed and executed action scenes? Thank you.
