Well this sucks, my PC is picking an awkward time to die on me.
To be fair, it's kind of always the case. There will perpetually be improvements, price drops, new components.
As soon as you build your computer you'll find a better sale in like 3 months and kick yourself over it. Best not to dwell too much. If you have the means to purchase the parts and build one, you'll be happy. Just know that in a ~2 year lifecycle for new graphics cards, we're about 2-3ish months away from substantial improvement for the same price, as long as covid doesn't delay production and stock.
