Sakurai has really gone all out with Ultimate, barring absolutely nothing when it comes to characters and stages. What do you think will happen to the series if/when we get a sixth game? What would be ideal iyo?
I'd love to see a more streamlined entry that goes back to its simplistic roots; imo Smash has gradually gotten way too bombastic and outlandish with each new title, and I've been missing the quick-action arcade-style format of Smash 64 and Melee. Cutting superfluous characters, stages, and modes down to the essentials - but staying up-to-date/modern with current trends - would be ideal imo. Also bringing back a traditional story and/or adventure mode would be awesome, and overall they ought to scale back a lot of the general excessiveness, like some of the more over-the-top Final Smashes and special moves, to keep more in line with a standard fighting game.
But that's just me.
