Honestly, the game might be last year's most overhyped game. Other than the fragmented (and utterly convoluted) storytelling there was nothing in this game I haven't seen in other Sci Fi anime, manga or games before. To me it just felt like a mishmash of as many Sci Fi tropes and concepts as possible without any unifying theme to it. What's worse, the characters were VERY one-dimensional. Their personalities weren't really explored at all, there was barely any character development. Either way, I find the praise this game gets recently ridiculous.
