Also from googling, it looks like I don't even have a pc that could have the right specs for it anyway. I was going to wait until I bought a new desktop this year for gaming and fooling around with programming. Well, I could check my Surface Pro's specs again. Eh, I'll do it later. >_>
Unless its really old, I don't see why that would be the case. Also you can download the older versions of engines like Unity if your kit is that low spec. For learning thats not going to hinder you because the frameworks are broadly the same between versions... at least, without going to something really old.
