Yep basically this. Heck even including spin-offs, it's still probably the second worst. I daresay the old console Fallout was better than this one.
And yeah I liked ME2 more than ME1 or ME3. ME3's ending ruined it, and ME1... it just didn't age well, it feels super clunky to play these days, and it's got a lot of filler in it. It's overloaded with systems that it doesn't really need.
ME2 is a cleaner, more streamlined (in a good way) experience, with more roleplaying options made available, and dramatically better graphics and animations.
