That's what Pot of Greed lets you do.

Bill is a Trainer card though, so you can still play him 4 times a turn if you draw all 4

In the newer TCG he's a support card. Trainer card was an OCG thing, and they're illegal to play.

Fuck those rules then, old cards should never be deprected. I can still use my old Exodia deck in YGO

If that old Exodia deck contains cards that are in the current banned list, then they will also be illegal to play as well.

Ignoring the banlist is for casuals that can't git gud enough to work around certain cards
