I had mine removed in the mid 30s a few years back. It isn't the removal that is the problem, although I remember hearing crunch noises even while I was out. It isn't the recovery. It is supposedly the "trying to avoid dry socket at all costs" which I never got it. My daughter had her wisdoms removed a few months ago at age 16 and she didn't get dry socket either. So eh.
I recall eating a bunch of yogurt, scrambled eggs and egg flower soup for a day or two, but other than, I'd rate getting a colonoscopy worse because of the 2-3 hours of diarrhea.
