The increased use of pesticides is a big problem. We are using too many pesticides on crops as well as on lawns.
Pesticide run off causes algae blooms which screws up the life in waterways.
I have a home garden. I can notice the drop in bees. I remember as a kid having tons of bees around in the summer. Even 10 years ago I would see multiple bees when checking my garden. The last couple of years they are scarce.
Pesticides are ruining things. I am all for anything that makes us rethink how much we use them.
It's literally impossible to not use them on a big scale. There will be nothing in shops that don't use them.
