I remember during the days of 386/486, when you wanted "real" sound and not the stock PC sounds, you got small speakers for it. Back then, I didn't know what sound cards were. I thought I could buy a speaker that would fit into one of the spare parallel ports in the back.
Then I got a Compaq Pentium II PC with the integrated sound ports in the mobo and the speakers that came with the monitor. I had the one with the RCA inputs for video/image capture, so I would play video games on it and screencap a lot of shit.
