Also, a tip for the Black Knight on the tower in Undead Parish (can't guarantee that this will work the same way for you as it did for me):
Sneak up on him when he isn't looking and throw a Firebomb at him. Then immediately run down the tower and out into the outside corridor area where you could see the armored boar.
The Black Knight jumped to his death from the top of the tower in his chase after me after a few seconds of waiting outside. The physics of the knight's body may give it trouble coming down the staircase.
