The vtuber community, especially on the niji end of the pool, is straight up atrocious about open secrets like this, since the whole selen thing.

Not to say the holo side is much better (especially given how known e.g. Calli/Kiara/Kronii are, or everyone jumping immediately for Fauna/Goob/Ame), but like some folks don't even acknowledge that there's reasons some folks might want the personas kept separate beyond "NDA", even if that's functionally impossible given the number of fans

To be fair, 9 times out of 10, they want people to know who they are when they leave. They just usually don't say it out loud because of immersion. Typically the only scenario where they'd want to hide it is if they weren't proud of their past life and truly wanted a fresh start.

Yeah, Miki/Rosemi hasn't even decided if they want to steam again or not yet for example. I'm hoping they do but understand if it goes the other way, honestly.

In my experience the places that are secretive about identities are vtuber fan spaces, and the places that are loose about identities are subsections of other communities that happen to sometimes mention vtubers here and there.

well and 4chan but that's the sort of place where everyone just says whatever they want so they're of course not secretive about anything

Harada did claim Rosemi as his oshi, even popping in chat during non-Tekken streams and once telling someone complaining on Twitter about Tekken 8 while she was streaming to "shut up and watch Rosemi." So I think it's fair to say he was a genuine fan of hers at least lol, so yeah she probably told him herself thinking of it

Yeah. By outside I mean really way outside, as in, he's likely someone who just go "oh this one vtuber girl really likes my game and she's cute, I'll follow her to support her back", but generally never interact with the fandom in general.



To know that X is the same person as Y without X or Y telling you, you usually have to already be within the fandom, because the PL concept itself is not a basic level knowledge. Normal people usually would thought that a vtuber only ever has one account. Heck, there are fans of vtubers who have been following their oshi for years but don't know their oshi has PL, until someone who know told them.

Knowing that PL shouldn't be willy-nilly talked about, is another matter, because talking about PL is indeed something that generally, only people outside the fandom would think that it's fine, as they would be unaware of the problem with that if they are outside the fandom. But that still requires them to, by happenstance, find out about the PL in the first place.



All that makes me think, it's likely Harada knew of Rosemi's PL because she's the one who told him to begin with.

Slim chance of happening, but it would be great to see Risu play Dinkum with them considering Risu is practically their senpai in this game as well.

Heck, a number of Holo ID members have played the game long before Bae and Gigi. But Risu is the most often one. So a play with Risu sounds like it's gonna be fun.

I checked in on that stream a couple times. When she was 3 hours in and when she was 6 hours in. Both times she was singing that song. I have no idea if she kept it up the whole time or how long the stream ended up being. I watched most of it last year I think. I think I remember her voice starting to suffer

She sang it for nearly 8 hours, just like last year. Though from what I saw, she also had other EN members record themselves singing the song for the stream, giving her a chance to rest.
