He sorta did, but it seems to boil down to "Aphrodite is supposed to be that way" and that she's a side character, without even knowing if Eve was intentionally designed that way in-universe or if it was literally just for fanservice. Which I don't mind either way, as no matter what meaning you give a character to look the way they do, it was mostly designed to appeal to the players visually. I really do see the issue as black and white, really. Aphrodite being excused because her design has a reason yet Quiet's design from MGSV having a reason is shamed or joked with. In Hades 2 Aphrodite is gonna have maybe 3 still images, and some "aw jeez she's real hot/pretty/whatever" dialogue from whatever the MC's name is, most/all of which will be completely avoidable. Though who knows maybe this MC will be hornier than Zag was and we'll get more spicy comments from them if you give Aphrodite a bunch of gifts or something. In Stellar Blade you WILL, unavoidably, get many cutscenes with "gratuitous" body shots of Eve+whoever where the camera ogles them, because the designers/writers have fetishes and really want you to know it, much like Bayonetta. There were similar discussions with 2B before release, but the camera work and way she's treated by the game itself are very rarely horny, which is why that discussion basically died after the game released. Also the complaints are usually about AAA studios not indie studios comprising of 16 people. Supergiant games is one THE best game studios in existence not controlled by a corporate entity or shareholders with a long history of fun, quality games like Bastion, Transistor, Pyre and now Hades.
