Well I was somehow right about Death being town in my EoD panic but uh... What? I was totally going to grill him on why he didn't vote Chris but I was pretty sure it was just because he panicked but seriously what?

But I wish to start this day by knocking the Wall down.

Wall did something in topic 5 that tends to be a very common trap newbie scum fall into, and it's one I used to fall into myself. There's 4 1/2 minutes left, and the trains of consequence are Chris, Death, and Han. He dodged any mention of the trains and voted Ulti instead. This prompted me to ISO his end of day in general twice.

My town lean on Wall hasn't just gone, it's flipped straight to a scum read. Wall is barely a factor in topic 3, nearly a non-factor in topic 4, and generally stays just barely on the fringes of the action in crunch time. He focuses predominantly on BCT, who is not a lynch candidate, for fairly weak reasons. He had no comment to make on any of the three people who might actually be getting lynched outside of soft defending Chris in #396 of topic 3 immediately after Ulti voted him. He at no point even makes any reference to Death or Han that I could find from topics 3-5.

This is much much more likely to come from newbie scum getting overwhelmed and having no idea what to do on a split lynch and completely avoiding it instead.

Wall's vote is awful and it was probably the first thing I picked up on when rereading. That said, I think I can buy it as just coming from a different mafia culture. I think he just voted for his biggest scumread and just hoped people would jump on them, seeing his lack of engagement and time spent in the topic prior to the lynch (and I don't believe it's from a lack of care - his content at the start of the day was great).

I mostly am just left with a rampant urge to kill the people who weren't around and EoD to scream and wave their arms to do anything and save Chris (and by that I mostly mean I am filled with inexplicable bloodlust for MZero due to him doing literally nothing).

I made the move because despite everything and all the conspiracy going on I still thought Death was town. My immediate read on Death is rarely wrong.

That was all really. I had no real confidence in that Chris vote at all.

And yes, it's interesting how people tried to subtly whisper against Ulti there.

BCT I appreciate you going through and collecting all those. But I know at the very least in my case, almost none of my choices are consistent to now. Seeing how the pressure on Death went, I became fairly convinced that scum was happy letting Death die and the whole game flipped on its head.

Rather than get into a massive bundle of my thoughts and staying awake far too long, I wanna just spew out the main thing on my mind.

Do we think the Chris lynch is fully pure? I really don't see any universe where Han or Crescent are anything other than confirmed, and I just don't see how any of the others have the Scum motivation for what they did? The way it played out, everyone who was on Chris kinda knew how important their vote was. Like I said, anyone who is present and Scum there should be absolutely flailing and doing anything to save Chris. I need to go back and re-reread EoD fully because I crashed a bit yesterday after spending most all of Tuesday on or thinking about this game, but I'll keep the JC thing that a few people have mentioned in mind. Like, it's way too early to start writing people off for good, but I'm removing everyone on the Chris lynch from my PoE for today at least, barring drastic changes.

Yeah it's way too early to full town clear anyone for a lynch, but I'd put Lea pretty far up there in town points for starting the train.

Ulti could 100% still be scum on that vote, but it's up to how much do you think the Chris/Ulti scuffle earlier in the day could have been theater. Is it possible that Chris was venting frustration about a buddy Ulti not being as proactive in topic as he wanted?

If we humor some kind of scum team like Chris/Ulti/MZero/JC, then it's very possible to me that Chris thought it would be an easy game but with two people that mostly post in different time zones, he wanted to rile up Ulti to make some pushes on people that were a little less lazy than voting me for my soft claim.

I could also easily buy a Town Ulti here though, so I'm really not pushed one way or the other. What motive would scum have to push town toward Ulti instead of doubling down on Death who already had votes on him?

Doesn't matter how you feel now. The goal was to logic together who scum could be, and see what kind of correlations we can find between that and interactions in the topic. Scum would be very deliberate with who they chose, whether that's collectively or as individuals.

(Apologies, I'm watching Survivor, so will be mostly away for the next half-hour)

I don't know if you think King(Queen?)making to be scummy or just non-comittal, but basically if you thought Death was the safest lynch there, then I was gonna stay on Death. If you wanted to vote Chris or BCT or something, then I was gonna join you on them. Han and Sultan were probably the only choices at that moment I wasn't going to join you on.

I have to say Im rattled by Death flipping town. I went back and read things and I was all ready to come and analyze the game from a Death/Chris combo angle. Gotta do some rethinking.

I had been iffy on Ulti all day, starting with my list. I won bingo. And then Han being > Chris was somewhat arbitrary but I had to choose one. Well I guess I didnt, but I did. The important thing was Death >>>>>>>>>>

I dont blame anyone for suspecting me, frankly, I realize I put my foot in my mouth early d1 with my response to Ultis scan comment and I didnt even realize I was committing a faux paus by not jumping aboard the train for one of the viable lynch candidates. Sultans huge reaction to Ulti weirded me out (and still does frankly) so I was curious to see if Sultan would put his money where his mouth was and follow me back over to Ulti if he felt like there was a legit chance ulti would be lynched. When asked why he wasnt sticking to voting for ulti sultan basically just shrugged and was like oh no one will vote ulti with me. At the time I thought sultan/ulti might be scum theater which Im a bit less hot on the idea now. But I took too long catching up and there wasnt much time for sultan to react, not to mention I see now it wouldve been considered weird/sus on his part to not take a stand and vote for one of the leading lynch candidates.

I literally did avoid Chris, death and Han stuff because I felt lost frankly. I didnt know what to make of Chris and Hans drama, which either clears Han entirely (95% likely imo) or is a highly memorable piece of scum masterpiece theatre brought to you by PBS. I felt like this part of the game was heavily based on people reading people based on how they normally are and I didnt even feel like voting for one of them and potentially casting the decision making vote with no real conviction on who was a better lynch candidate.

I spent way too much time not working the first irl day of d1 because I was having fun playing and it shows for topic 3-5 because I had to hustle and get some work done for my job, plus 5-8 pm eastern is tough for me with family stuff. So the combo of irl responsibilities drawing me away from the game a little, and then Han and Chris spending what felt like literally an entire topic alternating between mentioning 74 games ago and threatening to whip em out and see who was bigger, yeah I left reading all those posts feeling like I didnt have a damn clue who I sided with.

C'mon man, you're a better player than that. Best case scenario you're just town vanilla, playing an awful game and need a kick up the arse. Far more likely, you're scum who's unmotivated and doesn't believe they can win after seeing Chris get ganked.

Ii honestly have no idea if scum me actually has the spine to place that vote but I don't think anyone should be getting town clears regardless. It wouldn't shock me if there's a scum there that's going to try to milk it because I've seen it before. But anyway I don't have any interest in pursuing anyone on that train.

My current scumread on Wall is bigger than any scumread I had at any point in the day yesterday. I do agree that JC's end of day felt super lacking though, and his last post was awful given the guy he has been tunneling on for never strong reasoning had already claimed.

The only one on that lynch I would even entertain with an above 0% chance of being scum is Han, because he actually has the balls to bus Chris regardless of any backstage demands, and those two are absolutely good enough as scum to put on a performance.

However, I put it at like, 1.5% chance. ctes and MZero are much higher priority, and with Crescent coming in hot (meow) man do I hope she's the cop and took my advice last night.

If I were cop I don't come in anywhere near this hard and you know it. Cops that immediately reveal or hint at scans are bad and stagnate days.

Also to be honest if MZero continues to do nothing I don't think I'd even mind just lynching him and ending day in 24 hours instead of 48.
