Ugh...FFX laughing scene is going to win isn't it. I wish people would re-play the game and realise he was trying to make Yuna laugh. He was trying to cheer her up, and was getting her to release some of her feelings out. Very much like when we shout when we're angry.

Any way. Dilly dally shilly shally was what I voted for. We don't really have much in the english language to replicate what the Japanese language does for that scene. Watching advent children with english voice acting is a bad choice anyway.

I actually think itll be a close race between DILLY DALLY. We've had several surprises so far. I'm hoping for another one.

In my opinion, the dilly dally shilly shally scene isn't much better in Japanese. The whole movie is basically an assassination of Tifa's character and that scene in particular makes her look like a selfish asshole.

For anyone wondering: in Japanese, Tifa says "zuru zuru" which is supposed to be like the sound of dragging (implying Cloud is dragging his feet on moving on).

I get why people say the HAHAHA one is the worst but at least it's it's own self contained bit to do with the developing relationship between Tidus and Yuna that's one and done.

The whole FF8 orphanage scene essentially fucks the entire plot of FF8 and jumps the shark to a point the game plot never fully recovers.

If it's a choice between a cringe worth 5 minute scene or one that ruins the next 40 hours of plot then I'll go with FF8.

I feel like its cheating voting for dilly dally since its in a movie and a really bad translation job but holy shit does it make my skin crawl.

the X laughing scene, while awkward as all fuck and weirdly acted, is supposed to be that way and at least serves its purpose

The orphanage scene is a slow burn. It doesn't immediately seem that bad as it's happening, but you slowly begin to realize - even after finishing it - how much it negatively affects the rest of game's plotline. It's the foundation of its convoluted writing.

Tidus and Yuna laughing is obviously going to run away with this, but I voted Brother perving on his cousin. Or just anything involving Brother in FF X-2. I liked the game overall, but I could have done without them bringing him back period, let alone making him one of the most prominent secondary characters.

You're assuming people don't know this and still find it hard to stomach. I thought that was obviously portrayed and not hidden at all. It's still a "God, I hope no one comes in the room at this moment" scene.
