JE19426 01/01/20 4:53:35 PM #5:	Harry goes to a state (public for those who don't know) school, where his need to wear glasses would have almost certainly been identified by the teachers. Given that the NHS in the UK pays for glasses (for kids anyway), it would look really weird for the Dursley's not to provide him with glasses. Near/far sightedness comes from a deformity of the eye socket.
