Yeah I really could not grasp the jumping out of space bubbles I think. Looking over a replay of the level I'm not really sure how I died so many times either.

Also just beat C4. Way easier than C3.

Same man. This is why it didn't reach that top tier of platformers for me. The extra content was too precise and I don't have time for that.

3C was the hardest thing in the game for me if I remember correctly, haven't played chapter 9 though.

I also thought there was something not that fun about the C sides, the B sides I was super into them, but the C sides felt just ridiculous...

One of my friends at work has been working on the golden strawberries and posts updates on facebook, looks like he has gold strawberries done for all the C sides, and chapters 1 through 7 A sides, and gold chapters 1 & 2 B sides, Pretty dang impressive!

Just beat 5C. Felt really weird difficulty-wise. I died a whole bunch on the first screen, then like three times on the second screen, then a ton on the last. Also felt like a huge difficulty spike after 4C-- the last screen required a lot of precision with the wall bumps.

Finished it with 440 deaths.

Just got through Ch 9 in 2912 deaths. Loved it! Then I find out there's a secret Berry at the very end. Of course.

(I replayed the original A and B sides first just to re-acclimate to the game, otherwise I'm sure it would have been way worse.)

I can now confirm what I previously suspected, the last screen of Ch 9 isn't all that hard when you've beaten it once and your nerves are no longer shot.

(Which is not to say that Ch 9 doesn't get insanely hard, because it certainly does.)

Yes this is true. Honestly the only truly challenging part of the last screen is the end and it's not even that bad. I think the true difficulty just comes from how long it is. You have to go through the first 2-3 minutes to even get a shot at the ending.

I think the secret final screen of Chapter 9 is a little harder

Secret final screen became a lot easier when I realized I could diagonal-dash-cancel instead of up-dash-cancel to the spot where you throw the jellyfish on the vertical springs and it works 100% of the time instead of like 25% of the time.

Kinda feel silly about that now.
