xseed pcubed as for Sega, they do have some divisions that can be outright evil. whomever is in charge of Shining being the biggest case of it. but they also have some divisions that are very for-the-fans sort of thing, like Yakuza and Project Diva/Miku. overall, good heavily outweighs the bad with them. for all the shit i can give Nintendo on some practices - most notably related to streamers - when boiled down to what they offer, they definitely live on the side of "the good guys." they're just also very slow at it sometimes too. uh... does Firaxis count? like yeah, they dropped Beyond Earth like a wet sack of potatoes but outside of that they do have a strong track record of supporting their games. also surprise mention for Bandai Namco. i'm not sure they've had any major controversy really. a few minor ones sure but they bring over a ton of anime games, including some Asia releases of the Super Robot Wars series. can't beat that. (also Platinum Games because they're gods of the action genre and can make a damn good story when they try. but that's probably up there with xseed in the universal praise.) --- "Maybe it's a tentacle, molesting the planet itself. - Aschen Brodel. ... No, I mean deleting the original Dark Souls from Steam and forcing everyone to buy the new version. Bethesda kinda did a similar thing with Skyrim, but they gave the special edition to everyone who had the original and its DLC for free...

Yes that is Bamco. They also held release for Dark Souls III back a week in NA, despite having a fully translated English version available in the Japanese release, for basically no reason. Bamco sucks.

I think a lot of Nintendo second-party teams are well liked. Intelligent Systems makes tons of great games. Retro is cool. People like Platinum too.
