Got to Descend a little bit ago.

There was a sense of dread that this thing that had such an enormous impact on my life was going to be not as hot as I remember, so I've been putting off doing this for quite some time.

But god damn.

Homestuck is so fucking good.

I reread it during one of the last pauses to refresh myself before the ending. I felt like the later parts of Act 6 weren't as good and I'd just outgrown it or something. Nope, first 5 acts are still incredible. And there's still some great standout moments after that.

It's just a shame the ride will never fucking end.

Yeah it definitely went downhill after the first 5 acts.

Parts of the ones after are still good but its a pretty noticeable decline in quality.

Its not like, ever outright bad or anything (except maybe the Trickster arc) though.

I'm pretty sure I'm gonna agree with that once I get there, but I almost don't even mind. The content up to this point and an enormous chunk of content after this point. Like, obviously I KNOW, but it's hard to wrap my head around just how much good stuff I still have left. I haven't even hit Hivebent yet!

And for those who don't know, this was spurned on by Homestuck recently going fully mobile accessible after VIZ bought it a few weeks ago.

The crazy thing is that Act 6 is literally 50% of the entire comic. It's surreal to think about.
