Cutie Honey Universe
This is absolute trash but I'll watch another episode just in case it's not. I want to believe, dammit.

Golden Kamuy
I thought this was pretty good! The story seems like it'll be interesting, and both of the mains seem interesting. The bear CG was hilarious, and the wolf CG mixed with it was seriously the best. You had three different types of animation styles on the screen at once. Basically, this is gonna have to rely on it's storytelling...

Piano no Mori
I really enjoyed this one. Setting up all the right marks for the kind of coming of age story I enjoy. But oh man, this CG is depressingly bad. When it shows a character playing the piano, it will reanimate their entire body into some early-2000s era CGI with stiff motions. And it constantly switches between this and traditional animation within the same performance. When it closes in on the hands aas they hit keys, it looks like floppy sausages slapping onto the piano. Completely takes me out of any emotion I'm supposed to be feeling as they play these extended musical numbers. Some of the worst I've ever seen. Everything else is some good shit, though.

Wotakoi
Fantastic start! Shaping up to be a good romcom. The two main characters have awesome chemistry, and Narumi is hilarious, thanks in part to a great voice actress who's apparently new to the scene! We haven't seen much of the other two mains, but they both seem interesting at the very least. It's a really cute show, and I doubt it'll be anything more than that, so I expect it'll stay consistently good.

Hisone & Masotan
I dunno, this was really weird. The pacing in the first half of the show was so fast that it was actually uncomfortable to watch, but it got better in the second half. The main character feels pretty unique, and I like the way this art style blends with the animation. It's intriguing, to say the least, but I don't know whether I'll like it in the end. Also some dude vapes.

Man I really disliked the second half of this Hinamatsuri episode. I'll still watch for now in the hope that this was just a dumb one-time skit, but if the rest of the show is anything like this it's getting dropped pretty quickly.

the male character is physically the same age as the girl (Hestia) who happens to be a goddess so she could be any age she wants to be

I don't care if people like or dislike it, but I hated that it was driving all discussion of Fire Emblem Fates, rather than it's value as a video game. This is a mobile gacha game, I think, so it's value as a game is already 0. I just find waifu petting weird, but different strokes for different folks.
