protein after your workout, as soon as possible (within 30 mins - 1 hour)
I think it's best to wait a bit after your last meal to workout, sometimes i workout first thing in the morning but wouldn't recommend it until you know how your body reacts Just starting out, i would say an upper body/ lower body/ rest 3 day split is fine --- Dallas Cowboys : 6 - 6 Dallas Mavs : Dirk Nowitzki: 30, 527 points (6th all time) 892 from Wilt ... To the second question, I'd say that's personal preference. I really hate working out within a couple hours of eating so I always did it before dinner. Helps build up an appetite. I suppose you could have a small snack beforehand but otherwise just staying hydrated is enough.

another good way to divide your workouts is:

If you're doing shakes, do it after you workout
Wait at least an hour and half to work out after eating so your body can actually digest the food you're eating. Otherwise you'll feel bloated and queasy working out. Look up an actual lifting routine. Do Starting Strength 5x5 or Stronglifts 5x5 for the first few weeks/months to get a feel for technique. Then once you can't make progress every workout session on either of those two, switch over to something like the reddit PPL, GSLP, any 5/3/1 variation, etc. --- ... Copied to Clipboard!

Your first two questions are basically right after is a must and before if youre a serious gains master

My protein shake is a weight gainer so it has 1250 calories per serving and 50 grams of protein. That's a lot.
