First, because it never hit 15-0 or 16-1, second, because discussion means no mercy. I'm opposed to it because it defeats the purpose of MPFC as I see it, which is to take the characters as they are in their source material, by changing the characters into "source material plus stuff from prior matches". If a character has the ability to take something from a defeated enemy its more fun to see them evolve than be the same stale one. And really, fun is the only way you could justify the way this contest even was in the first place. Its effectively a popularity contest with arguments that may or may not sway anything.
