It does, quite a bit better too, but I don't really know if it would change your mind if you weren't really hot on it already. The first few episodes didn't really catch my attention either though. I didn't see what all the fuss was about until I watched Bridle Gossip and Sonic Rainboom.

So guys, from one brony to another:

-Is there a consensus about which pony is the best? Because, after five episodes, for me it's all about the Pinkie Pie.
-Are there any stellar eps coming up soon?

No, I'd say all of the main characters are liked almost equally. If I had to guess which one's the most popular I would say Rainbow Dash, but that is extremely debatable.

Well, Griffon the Brush-off (5) is a Pinkie episode, so there's that, but it's not normally a highly regarded episode. The series is generally considered to get really good with Dragonshy (7) and Bridle Gossip (9), so there's those to look forward to, although my personal favorite episodes aren't until a while later (16 and 25).

Alright, you know what?? That's it. I'm going to finally watch some of these MLP episodes right now and prove to myself that this show isn't as good as people say. It can't be...

Rainbow Dash seems to have the most people who like her the most, but Fluttershy seems be the most universally 'above average' liked. Pegasus supremacy.

A lot of people seem to dislike Fluttershy based on her just being too "moe" and claim that people only like her because she's their ideal girlfriend, so I'm not sure. I think Dash is more universally liked.

Hey I didn't say that anyone actually does consider Fluttershy their ideal girlfriend, that's just what people accuse Fluttershy of a lot.

I must be the only one who just likes Fluttershy because I think she's funny as hell, angry or not. Yeah, she does make me d'awwwww a lot more than any other pony admittedly, but I like her because she just has a lot of funny moments.

Rarity honestly seems like she ought to be closer to being middle-aged than teenaged. I can't buy her as being younger than about 24 personally, though I think all of the cast is supposed to be.

I'm horribly indecisive, but Fluttershy might be the closest thing I have to a favorite. I don't think there are as many Fluttershy haters as you think, Para.

There aren't a lot of haters, just more than like... Twilight, or something. I don't really see Twilight haters around. Or Rainbow Dash, like I said before. I think the only characters with a significant amount of hate are Rarity and Applejack.

I... haven't really seen anyone who hates Rarity or Applejack either.

I liked Rarity even before that but then she became the best pony forever after her best episodes. Though Fluttershy is a close second.

Pinkie Pie has been the most popular one since that one episode with the Gryphon and she was warping reality and ignoring physics.

I didn't necessarily dislike Rarity at first, but she was easily my least favorite. That changed with Look Before You Sleep. Now I have no idea who my least favorite is.
