Part 5

Like I said earlier I told my close ones the story and they understood after I shown them the proof that I was innocent.

On April 30th I had to travel back to NJ for court, we provided the evidence and the prosecuting party really had nothing to say except, "he may have done...this could've been...yada yada yada." I was found Not Guilty 2 hours later and I'm a free man.

After the case, I saw someone wearing some NBC gear but I didn't recall seeing any cameras. I walked up to him asking him about me being on tv and that it was proven that I was set up. He gave me a card and told me to call them.

I call them from my cell phone as soon as he hands me the card, I asked that my exposure on "To Catch A Predator" not be shown, and no one should mention this since IIRC it would be defamation of character. They tell me that I can meet them at NBC Studio in New York Monday Morning.

Since classes are done for the school year, I didn't have to worry and RJ said he would let me stay at his place again if I needed to. So I did until Monday.

Monday Morning I meet up with their marketing director in the NBC building, he takes me to his office and discusses the video clip.

I told him that I wanted nothing to do with it, this shouldn't have happened in the 1st place and they can just burn the video. The video pretty much hurts my reputation no matter how you put a spin on it. He insisted that they can show it and no one will think bad of it, it would be more of a joke, since I fainted. I told him no, just don't show me at all, I don't even want them to use my name. We put this agreement in writing that NBC wouldn't show me at all.

Besides that meeting, we shook hands and I headed back to Long Island to gather my stuff and headed back home.

It was a nice $2500 spent trying to serve justice for myself.
