my experience is that it is usually the dorkiest looking white males who are the most racist & sexist.

One of the most common sentiment I get from white folks when talking about race and politics is this:

Everyone in America can be proud of their race, gender, sexual orientation, country and whatnot. That's unless you're a straight white male living in the west in which case you're evil, teh durty oppressor, check ur privileges!

That's seem to be their biggest struggle.

There are literally NO Asian main cast in the show and thus far there only TWO black characters (Grey Worm & Missandei). Hell, Missandei is actually mixed and not full black.

Not trolling - serious question here...

Any time minorities and/or LGBT are included/represented in the media (or anything for that matter) Conservatives often cry "PANDERING!". My question is: how exactly should we include minorities/LGBT without the Right crying "pandering"?

I'm not saying all of them, but do you think many white Americans feel they have inherent rights to America, mainly because whites are the 'majority' and because most politicians are whites? It's like if you're not white you're not a 'real American' to them.

I noticed nearly every time there's a discussion about race and struggles that minorities are facing, some white person would jump in and say things like:

"I'm Irish", "my great great great auntie/uncle/grandfather was a Native American!", "I'm *insert percentage here* Native American!"

And they often go on a big rant either trying trivialize issues minorities are facing or how whites were oppressed too.

Do you find that annoying? Like what the hell man? Does being Irish or having a tiny percentage of Native American ancestry in you make your argument more valid than others?

It's often the case that minorities/POC need 'break stereotypes' to prove that they're not all alike or to debunk stupid stereotypes placed upon them by society. But should they have to go out of their way to do that, though? OR should people educate themselves and not generalize?

my state has the highest taxes in the US. But yet we rank last in quality of roads, the education system, and health care.

But the politicians always become multimillionaires in a few short years. Would this be a clue, to where the money is going?
